Driving East on Hwy. 80 (from 880) It is impossible to get to the Emeryville exit from the new overpass (unless you use the 980 connector). Driving west on Hwy. 80: Exit the Highway at the University Ave. exit. Follow University Ave. west to the Berkeley Marina. The street comes to a T and jog to the left at that stop sign.  Take the first driveway to the right and park in that lot or park across the street and walk back to the Harbormaster’s office.

At the Marina: You will see a greenish building at the water’s edge (the harbormaster’s office). K Dock is directly behind this building. Continue down the ramp onto K Dock. Delphinus is berthed in slip K123, about halfway down the dock on the left hand side.  Delphinus is a large, two decked, white vessel.

HOW TO DRESS and WHAT TO BRING

Wear clothing in layers and be sure to include a warm jacket and windbreaker. Also bring a warm hat, sun hat, and gloves. Wear clean, soft-soled, non-skid shoes. No hiking boots please!  Bring binoculars, sunglasses, sunscreen, and camera. If there is a chance of showers, bring rain gear; a rain jacket makes a good choice for your windbreaker. Substantial body heat is lost from the head and neck, so, to ensure that you keep warm, bring clothing that will cover them well. You may bring snacks. Bring a bag lunch if your cruise is to last most of the day and lunch is not provided in your cruise package.
